December 15, 2014 - 12 Clubs Named to USAS Club Excellence List
Each year, USA Swimming releases their list of the top 200 performing clubs within the organization in the development of swimmers 18 and younger. Of these 200 clubs, the top 20 are dubbed "Gold Medal" clubs, the next 80 are "Silver Medal," and the final 100 are considered "Bronze Medal." For 2015, twelve clubs from Pacific Swimming have made the list (specific clubs listed below). Of all of the LSCs under USA Swimming, Pacific had the second most number of teams to make the list; Southern California led the way with fifteen.
