February 2, 2025 - Amerie Nordberg Memorial Scholarship for Graduating Seniors - 2025
Pacific Swimming is proud to announce the application process for the annual scholarship in the name of Amerie Nordberg is now open. Amerie was a talented athlete from Santa Rosa that grew up swimming in Pacific Swimming. She later swam for the University of California at Irvine and was team captain, holding several Top 10 records there: the 100 and 200 breaststroke and relay records in the 200 freestyle and 200 and 400 medley relay.
The Nordberg family generously donated to Pacific Swimming to create this scholarship to honor their daughter and commemorate her life. Up to two recipients will be chosen, and will receive $1000 each.
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a high school senior that plans to swim in college, have a GPA of 3.5 or higher, and be a member in good standing with Pacific Swimming. Please fill out this form before March 31, 2025 to be considered for the scholarship. The recipients will be announced at the May House of Delegates meeting (Sunday, May 18, 2025).
