Santa Clara Swim Club in Santa Clara, Calif., may have one of the richest histories of all of USA Swimming’s clubs, with the likes of Mark Spitz, Donna DeVarona, Pablo Morales, George Haines, Dick Jochems and many others leaving a huge impact on the program. Decades later, Santa Clara is still one of the top swim programs in the nation and the world, and has earned silver medal recognition in USA Swimming’s 2014 Club Excellence program.
