September 11, 2024 - Fitter & Faster Clinic Coming to Pleasant Hill October 12, 2024
Pacific Swimming Families,
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with Fitter & Faster to host a one day Fast Starts, Turns, Underwaters & More Swim Clinic taking place on October 12 at Pleasant Hill Middle School. Camp Clinicians include NCAA Champion Evgenii Somov from the University of Louisville, AquaBred Founder Piankhi Gibson, and Pan-American Games Gold Medalist Kendyl Stewart.
This camp will be exclusively available to swimmers in Pacific Swimming. There are limited spots available per session to ensure the maximum amount of attention for every participant. We highly recommend signing up today to secure a spot for your swimmer(s) as this camp is expected to sell out.
There will be two sessions throughout the day, one for swimmers 11 & under the other for 12 & over. The curriculum each day will be:

Explosive Starts, Underwaters & Breakouts
The momentum generated from explosive starts and turns are the FASTEST that top age group swimmers and elite swimmers are moving in a race! The more efficient, powerful and hydrodynamic your swimmer is, directly impacts their speed and distance they travel in the water before taking their first stroke!
